Actress Lee Yo-won, a homemaking veteran of 24 years, revealed that she tried making kimchi using a meal kit.
In the May 23 episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Mr. House Husband Season 2’ (Salimnam 2), Lee Yo-won shared her experience of making kimchi with a meal kit.
NCT’s Taeyong appeared as a special MC and emphasized, “I’m a total house husband!”
Taeyong mentioned that he is confident in cleaning and also loves cooking, noting that he knows how to make dishes like Samgyetang and Kimchi-jjigae.
Eun Ji-won mentioned he heard Taeyong had even tried making Kkakdugi. Apparently, the reactions to the Kkakdugi Taeyong made for a content shoot were quite positive.
When Eun Ji-won remarked that Taeyong was the first idol he’d seen making kimchi, Park Seo-jin chimed in, saying that while he isn’t an idol, he has also tried making kimchi.
Lee Yo-won looked a bit startled when she heard that Eun Ji-won had also tried making kimchi, following Park Seo-jin.
Park Seo-jin then asked Lee Yo-won if she had ever made kimchi. Lee Yo-won hesitantly replied, “With a kimchi meal kit…”
Surprised, Eun Ji-won and Park Seo-jin asked, “Is there actually a kimchi meal kit?” to which Lee Yo-won simply laughed.
Eun Ji-won asked Taeyong what he thought about making kimchi with a meal kit, and Taeyong’s response, “I think it’s a vibe,” sparked laughter among the cast.
