Isu of M.C the MAX has brought ‘A Boy From The Moon’ back to life after 26 years as a musical tribute to the late Shin Hae-chul.
Released on Teacher’s Day, the song serves as a reflection on the “beginning of M.C the MAX’s narrative,” deeply touching fans.
The new single ‘A Boy From The Moon (2026),’ released on the 15th, is already creating a buzz with an explosive response from fans.
‘A Boy From The Moon’ is a 2026 reimagining of a track from the first album ‘Delete’ by Moon Child, the predecessor to M.C the MAX. The song holds special meaning as it was produced by the late Shin Hae-chul (CROM), who served as Moon Child’s producer at the time.
By releasing the track on Teacher’s Day (the 15th), Isu expressed his respect and gratitude toward his musical mentor, the late Shin Hae-chul. Fans are sharing their emotions, commenting, “Releasing a mentor’s song on Teacher’s Day is a perfect narrative,” “It feels like hearing the start of M.C the MAX again,” “The boy from the moon has returned after 26 years,” and “The return of the king.”
Isu first unveiled ‘A Boy From The Moon’ during the opening stage of his solo concert ‘Wintering’ back in February. Following a flood of requests from fans after the performance, the official digital release became a reality.
Isu shared a touching message on SNS, saying, “I was a high school senior when I first received the demo for this song. It was such a wonderful track the moment I heard it, and it felt like a dream because it was written by someone I admired.” He added, “I made this while thinking of loved ones who have returned to their own stars.”
The music video is also receiving praise. Depicting a boy from the moon who travels through time to return to Earth and evolve into an artist on stage, the video leaves a lasting impression by symbolically connecting “Boy Isu” from the Moon Child era to the “Isu” of today.
Fans are pouring out heartfelt reactions, saying, “The emotional line connecting Boy Isu’s voice to the current Isu’s voice is overwhelming,” “I felt once again that Moon Child and M.C the MAX exist because of Shin Hae-chul,” and “I got goosebumps hearing it at the concert, and now it’s finally out as a digital track.”
Starting with the release of ‘A Boy From The Moon (2026),’ Isu plans to continue communicating with music fans through various musical activities.
