Oh My Girl’s Mimi revealed an unimaginable eating habit that left a medical specialist completely shocked.
In the 10th episode of the Netflix variety show ‘Manhakdo Ji-ssi’, which premiered on the 25th, endocrinologist Woo Chang-yoon appeared as a guest to discuss the trending topic of ‘well-aging’.
During the episode, Ji Suk-jin and Mimi gave realistic answers to the question, “How long do you want to live?”
Mimi, born in 1995, shared her honest thoughts, saying, “I want to live as long as I can. New and great things keep coming out in the world, and I think I’d be so sad if I died without experiencing them.”
On the other hand, Ji Suk-jin, born in 1966 and celebrating his 60th birthday this year, didn’t hide his desire for longevity, shouting, “I really want to live past 120!”
Specialist Woo Chang-yoon shared the core values of ‘well-aging’—accepting the flow of time while keeping the body healthy—distinguishing it from the old ‘anti-aging’ paradigm that tried to deny or stop the decline of bodily functions.

He also explained that aging is closely related to inflammation and shared tips on how to lower inflammation levels. During this conversation, Mimi’s unique taste buds became the center of attention, turning the studio upside down.
Mimi confessed, “I eat ice cream as soon as I wake up. I eat two or three at once,” showing her extraordinary love for frozen treats and drawing concerned looks from the expert.
Hearing this, Dr. Woo Chang-yoon warned her about the rapid rise in blood sugar on an empty stomach, sternly noting, “Eating sweet foods immediately after waking up can be as strong a stimulus as smoking or drinking.”
However, Mimi didn’t back down, confidently replying, “I eat it for my own happiness and mental health.” Her stubborn refusal to give up her morning ice cream despite the warnings brought plenty of laughter to the set.
Meanwhile, Ji Suk-jin revealed his own unique effort to maintain his health, sharing that he has eaten tomato soup every single morning for three long years.
But he immediately followed up with a plot twist, confessing, “I eat boiled eggs with coffee at night. It makes me so happy,” which left the cast in stitches. Listening closely, Dr. Woo Chang-yoon added to the fun by advising that he could likely extend Ji’s lifespan by 10 years if he corrected his nighttime eating habits.
The episode also covered various health topics, including the criteria for obesity, the relationship between lack of sleep and aging, and how blood sugar spikes cause drowsiness. ‘Manhakdo Ji-ssi’ is released every Monday at 5 PM.
