Actress Moon Ga Young shared a heartfelt acceptance speech, expressing her deep gratitude to the colleagues she worked with and the people who have stayed by her side for a long time.
The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards took place on the afternoon of the 8th at COEX Hall D in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Celebrating its 62nd anniversary, the Baeksang Arts Awards is a festival of stars established in 1965 to promote the development of Korean popular culture and arts. While it has traditionally covered television, film, and theater, a new musical category was added this year to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Korean musicals.
Immediately after winning, Moon Ga Young said, “I’m truly grateful. There are so many people coming to mind right now,” as she thanked the film crew, her agency staff, and the actors she worked with.

She didn’t forget to send a loving shout-out to her co-star Koo Kyo Hwan. “Just as we acted for each other even in the moments that weren’t seen, this award also belongs to senior Koo Kyo Hwan,” she said. “I really wanted to tell him thank you for always being a reliable fence for me.”
Moon Ga Young then looked back on her acting career with meaningful reflections. “I’m celebrating the 20th anniversary of my debut this year,” she shared. “I want to send gratitude and peace to everyone who helped make me who I am today. I will work even harder to grow into an actress I can be proud of.”
She also expressed her sincerity to the audience who loved the work. Moon Ga Young added, “Thanks to the audience who watched the movie, I’ve heard many confessions since the beginning of the year saying they ‘want to give me their heart.’ I will cherish those feelings and continue to portray more diverse characters and lives,” leaving a lasting impression.

Meanwhile, the nominees for Best Actress in a Film included Go Ah Sung for ‘Pavanne’, Moon Ga Young for ‘If We’, Son Ye Jin for ‘It Can’t Be Helped’, Lee Hye Young for ‘Pagwa’, and Han Ye Ri for ‘Spring Night’.
