Hyun Bin, Park Bo-young, Park Jeong-min, and Moon Ga-young were named the winners of the Best Actor and Actress awards in both the TV and Movie categories at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards, held on the 8th at COEX Hall D in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Park Jeong-min, who celebrated his win for the movie ‘Face’, shared a witty acceptance speech, saying, “I’ve attended many award ceremonies but never won, so I even earned the nickname ‘King without a Crown.’ Now, I think I’ll start caring about the awards!”
He continued, “After receiving the offer for ‘Face’, I personally suggested a dual role, and I’m truly grateful to Director Yeon Sang-ho for readily accepting it, as well as to my fellow cast members. Mom, Dad, I love you. And to my sibling, whom I had a big fight with a few days ago, I want to say, ‘Please forgive me just this once!'” which brought laughter to the audience.
Moon Ga-young, who delivered a powerful performance in the movie ‘If We’, gave a heartwarming speech: “Thanks to the director and my colleagues, I didn’t feel lonely throughout filming. I’m sincerely grateful and want to share this joy and precious moment. Senior Koo Kyo-hwan, this trophy is yours!”
