Distributor Rivet announced on the 15th that Hiroto Wakai, the guitarist of the Japanese trio rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, will visit Korea on the 30th to celebrate the release of two movies.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE is a powerhouse band and the first in their category to win the Japan Record Award for three consecutive years. The group consists of Omori Motoki (vocals and guitar), Wakai Hiroto (guitar), and Fujisawa Ryoka (keyboard).
Wakai is set to meet Korean fans through a Guest Visit (GV) session on the 30th.
The two films, “Mrs. GREEN APPLE Magical 10th Anniversary Live ‘Fjord’ On Screen” (hereafter “Fjord”) and “Mrs. GREEN APPLE Magical 10th Anniversary Documentary Film ‘The Origin'” (hereafter “The Origin”), were produced to commemorate the band’s 10th debut anniversary.
“Fjord” captures the live energy of the 10th-anniversary concert held on July 26 and 27 last year at the Yokohama Yamashita Pier outdoor special venue. Fans can enjoy 23 performances, including the unreleased track “Variety,” offering a glimpse into the band’s journey.
“The Origin” is a documentary that reveals the members’ honest inner thoughts through the production process of the unreleased song “Variety.”
Both movies will be released exclusively at CGV on the 27th.
