'My Golden Child' Highlights a Mother's Anger Issues and Her Anxious 3rd Grade Son

Channel A’s ‘My Golden Child’ is set to share a touching story and solution for a mother who struggles to control her anger and her anxious third-grade son.

In the studio, a mother of two sons, aged 10 and 12, opens up about her third-grade “Golden Child,” who exhibits extreme anxiety, including a habit of severely biting his finger and toenails.

A pre-release clip shows the brothers enjoying a peaceful evening. However, the peace is short-lived when a dog almost swallows a rubber ball left on the floor, causing the mother to raise her voice.

Without first confirming who left the ball, the mother immediately begins interrogating the Golden Child. Despite his pleas of innocence, her suspicions persist, ramping up the tension.

In another clip, the mother finds spilled water and once again accuses the Golden Child. But when it’s revealed that the older brother was actually the culprit, the mother’s harsh tone suddenly shifts back to a warm voice.

Fans are curious to see what kind of advice Dr. Oh will give to the mother, who seems trapped in her prejudices against her son.

Will the prejudiced mother and her wronged son find a way to reconcile? Find out tonight (the 8th) at 9 PM on Channel A’s ‘My Golden Child’.
