Nam Jin is revealing the secret stories behind his kiss scenes with the top actresses of his time!
MBN’s ‘Dongchimi’ will air a special 700th episode (Part 2) on May 16.
During the show, Nam Jin recalled his massive popularity, saying, “When a song became a hit, it was made into a movie. I appeared in about 60 films and filmed several kiss scenes with the best actresses of that era.”
He shared a surprising detail about the past, recalling, “It was a time of strict regulations due to censorship by the Ministry of Culture. Lips touching was not allowed, so we had to just pretend to be close.”
But that didn’t last long! Nam Jin gave a candid confession, saying, “When you focus on acting, feelings of ‘love’ naturally creep in. There were times when I felt a connection during filming. When those emotions peaked, it became very complicated…” His bold talk had everyone listening intently.
Nam Jin further revealed, “When the camera zoomed out, I would turn my head slightly and just go for it!” He brought back memories of the passionate ‘Teto Nam Jin’ of that era, leaving the set in stitches.
Cho Young-nam also joined in, saying, “You might not believe it, but I filmed a movie too. The kiss scene with actress Nam Jung-im in the movie ‘Once in My Life’ became a hot topic.” He shared a funny story about his own “perfect manners” during kiss scenes. The episode airs on the 16th at 11 PM.
