C9 Entertainment’s first-ever multinational boy group, NAZE, is on a roll following their official debut on the 4th with their first mini-album ‘NAZE’. Among the members, Turn, who is from Thailand, is playing a huge role in promoting the team with his solid skills on stage and versatile charms off stage.
As an all-rounder boasting skills in vocals, performance, and rap—along with striking visuals—Turn is making his mark across music shows, terrestrial variety programs, and web content. During his appearance on KBS 2TV’s ‘Malja Show’, he impressed viewers by revealing he is a polyglot who speaks five languages and by showing off his impressive yo-yo skills. Additionally, on the M2 music talk show ‘Woozoo Record’, he reinterpreted hits like Younha’s ‘One Day in My Twenties’ and Colde’s ‘As I Wish’ with his own unique voice, earning praise from Younha herself.
Even before their debut, Turn stood out during promotions in Japan. All members of NAZE appeared in lead roles in the TBS drama ‘DREAM STAGE’. Turn specifically showcased his athletic abilities and variety sense on the large-scale sports entertainment special ‘Year-end All-Star Athletic Meet’ and the variety show ‘Comparing the World’.
The success of Thai members in K-pop boy groups has been a steady trend across generations. 2PM’s Nichkhun paved the way as an iconic figure who introduced K-pop throughout Asia. Since then, GOT7’s BamBam and NCT’s Ten have also driven their teams’ global popularity with their own unique personalities and talents.
With Thai male idols continuing to bring fresh energy to the Korean music market, all eyes are on whether Turn will write a new chapter in this lineage. As a rookie only in their second week since debut, Turn and NAZE are expanding their influence across various fields, sparking high expectations for their growth as the next representatives of Hallyu.
