Jo Hyun-ah Brings Up SISTAR’s “Etiquette” Rumors: “I Heard They Didn’t Greet Others at Music Shows!”

Jo Hyun-ah Brings Up SISTAR's

Bora, formerly of SISTAR, opened up about her jam-packed schedule during the group’s peak years.

On the 14th, a video titled “Bora, I can add a line to my resume now that we’re friends. Can I call you at dawn?” was uploaded to Jo Hyun-ah’s channel. Appearing as a guest, Bora shared her inner thoughts. When Jo Hyun-ah asked just how busy they were back in the day, Bora recalled, “A typical day was finishing a music show, filming a variety show, and then heading straight to the next music show. I couldn’t even set foot in my own house.”

Jo Hyun-ah was shocked, asking, “Is that actually possible? I’ve only ever rushed from home to the hair salon.” Bora added, “We didn’t even go to the salon. Moving from one broadcasting station to another was our daily routine.” She also confessed, “Strangely, maybe because we were so busy, we didn’t even realize we were successful at the time. That’s probably why I don’t think we ever acted arrogant.”

Jo Hyun-ah then brought up a rumor, asking, “I heard something, can I say it? There was a rumor that while other singers greet each other after music shows, SISTAR just left.” Bora strongly denied this, explaining, “We greeted everyone without exception. Once we gained more experience, we even took the lead in greeting others.” When asked about SISTAR19, Bora recalled, “At that time, we weren’t very conscious of hitting number one. It was the beginning of our activities, and we released three albums a year. Since we put out a new release every three months, there was no time to think about it.” Jo Hyun-ah pointed out, “But didn’t you hit number one right away?” to which Bora replied with a laugh, “I guess we did.”
