SBS’s ‘Kkukkumu’ is diving deep into the massive mystery surrounding the death of Jang Jun-ha, a true leader and a guiding light of his era. Fans are also keeping a close eye on the appearance of singer Tiffany, who joins the show as a new bride!
Airing today (14th) at 10:20 PM, the episode titled “1975, That Summer at Yaksa-bong” focuses on the tumultuous life and death of Jang Jun-ha. While officially recorded as a simple accidental fall, his passing left behind countless suspicions.
Jang Jun-ha was a symbol of intellectuals in the 1950s and 60s as the publisher of the monthly magazine ‘Sasanggye’ and a godfather of the democratization movement who stood up against corrupt regimes. In his youth, he risked his life to join the Liberation Army for the country’s independence and was respected as an adult who lived with integrity.
However, being a light for the era made him a target for those in power. In the summer of 1975, while hiking Yaksa-bong, he suddenly passed away in a fall, shocking the entire nation.

At the time, the scene and the state of the body were far too suspicious to be concluded as a mere “accident.”
Despite falling from a rugged rocky mountain, his hands and feet were surprisingly clean, and even his hiking clothes and glasses were found without a single scratch. Later, during the process of relocating his grave, clear marks of artificial depression were found on his skull. This suggests the possibility of an “incident” rather than a simple accident, leaving the studio in shock once again.
Singer Tiffany Young, entertainer Seo Kyung-seok, and actress Han Groo appear as listeners to track down the truth of that day.
Tiffany, who recently shared the news of her marriage to actor Byun Yo-han, showed incredible immersion despite it being her first appearance. While hearing about Jang Jun-ha’s life and decisions, she teared up, saying, “My heart feels heavy,” and raised sharp questions regarding a witness’s suspicious testimony.
Seo Kyung-seok was also left speechless by the absurd testimony of the sole witness, Mr. Kim, saying it was “almost laughable,” while Han Groo expressed strong doubt about the forces behind the suspicious death, noting that “everything is strange.”
