The popularity of SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Brave New World’ is absolutely insane!

The series has already landed in the Top 10 lists of 44 countries, including Brazil, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Greece, and Morocco.
Along with ‘Brave New World’, ‘Kirigo’ took 2nd place, while ‘Sold Out Again Today’ ranked 3rd.
Typically, Netflix Originals tend to rank higher since they are exclusive to the platform, whereas shows airing simultaneously on TV channels often have their viewership split. Despite this, ‘Brave New World’ shot straight to #1 on Netflix as soon as it was released, proving its incredible global appeal.
‘Brave New World’ is a high-tension romance drama depicting a war-like relationship between Shin Seo-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), an unknown actress possessed by the soul of a legendary Joseon-era villainess, and Cha Se-gye (played by Heo Nam-jun), a malicious chaebol known as the monster of capitalism. The series is directed by Han Tae-seop and written by Kang Hyun-joo.
The show has been buzzing online since the very first episode. With Director Han Tae-seop’s delicate direction that balances humor and mystery, Writer Kang Hyun-joo’s fast-paced and tight script, and the passionate performances of the cast, fans are already calling it a “well-made” masterpiece.
Having garnered such a massive response in just two episodes, all eyes are on what other records ‘Brave New World’ will break next.
‘Brave New World’ airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
