Oh Eun-young is here to address the issue of favoritism.
The May 8th episode of Channel A’s ‘My Golden Kids’ will reveal the story of a mother who struggles to control her anger and her anxious 3rd-grade son.
A mother raising two sons, aged 10 and 12, appears in the studio to share the heartbreaking story of her 3rd-grade son, who exhibits extreme anxiety, including severely biting his nails. Unlike his current state of intense fear, he was reportedly active and fearless as a young child. This has sparked curiosity about what happened within the family.
In the pre-release clip, the brothers are seen spending a peaceful evening. However, the peace is short-lived when a dog almost swallows a rubber ball on the floor, causing the mother to raise her voice. Before even confirming who left the ball there, she immediately begins questioning the younger son. Despite his pleas of innocence, the mother’s suspicion continues, adding tension to the scene.
In a following clip, the mother finds spilled water on the floor and once again points to the younger son as the culprit. However, once it is revealed that the older brother was actually responsible, the mother’s sharp tone instantly transforms into a warm voice. While the studio laughs at the stark difference in how she treats the two brothers and the son’s frustration as he cries, “It’s always me!”, Dr. Oh remains serious throughout her observation. Everyone is waiting to see what kind of wake-up call Dr. Oh will give the mother for pushing the child based on prejudice.
The episode airs at 9 PM.
