A music video for the original musical ‘Lina, Superhero’, born from a collaboration between two artists, is being released on the 14th. The 3-minute and 30-second AI animation MV will be unveiled alongside the musical’s theme song, ‘Flower in You’.
Director Roy Oh is gaining global attention for his work, including the opening film for the AI movie section at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) and the welcome dinner video for the 2025 APEC Summit. Regarding this project, Roy Oh explained, “We live in an era where AI can create anything, but Eva Armison’s work possessed emotions that absolutely had to move.” He added, “This collaboration didn’t start as a simple technical experiment, but from the question of how to make ‘paintings with emotions’ come to life.”
The flow of the direction is particularly noteworthy. The video begins with Lina watering a pot where no flower has bloomed and concludes with a flower in full bloom in the same space, serving as a visual device to show small changes and growth. Additionally, a transition from a field to the sea in the middle of the video naturally expands the flow of the story and emotion.
Director Roy Oh stated, “Connecting emotions rather than just scenes was the most important part,” and noted that the video was structured to allow viewers to naturally step into the story.
