
The movie ‘Sword: The Sword of Godumakhan’ is set in 668 AD, right after the fall of Goguryeo. It tells the story of a man who has lost his memory and become a slave, who then enters a sword-fighting tournament to claim a legendary blade. Currently in production for a 2027 release, the film promises an epic action saga set against the backdrop of Liaodong Fortress.

As teased in the images, fans are buzzing over Park Bo-gum’s bold and unprecedented transformation! The film is also drawing huge attention as it is directed by Kim Han-min, who returns to the action genre with ‘Sword’ following ‘War of the Arrows’. Director Kim is a legendary figure in Chungmuro known for his massive scale and historical narratives, famously making history with the 2014 film ‘The Admiral: Roaring Currents’, which hit a record-breaking 17.61 million viewers.
