Actress Park Eun-bin has shared her thoughts on a potential second season of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’.
On the 18th, Park Eun-bin sat down for an interview at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, where she discussed various topics, including the Netflix series ‘Wonderfulls’.
The Netflix series ‘Wonderfulls’ is a superpower comic adventure set in 1999. It follows a group of neighborhood misfits who accidentally gain superpowers and struggle to protect the world from villains threatening peace.
Park Eun-bin revealed that she felt a new sense of liberation playing an expressive character for the first time in a while. Smiling, she said, “It’s been a really long time since I’ve played a role where I could be so playful,” adding, “Director Yoo In-sik created an environment where the actors could play freely.”
She explained, “As an actor, I enjoy the process of creating someone completely different from myself. The appeal was being able to do things that Park Eun-bin wouldn’t normally do through the character.”
She also expressed her joy at reuniting with the production team of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’. Recalling the experience, she said, “Since it was a familiar team, I was able to adapt to the set quickly,” and “The actors were deeply immersed in their characters and exchanged ad-libs, and the chemistry was just perfect.”
Park Eun-bin shared her deep trust in Director Yoo In-sik, saying, “I first met him through ‘Woo Young-woo’, and he has become a director I truly respect.” She added affectionately, “He is such a great mentor that I feel comfortable sharing not only work-related stories but also my personal struggles.”
However, she remained cautious about ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo 2’, a topic of great interest to fans. Park Eun-bin honestly stated, “Because it is such a loved and precious work, I feel I cannot make a decision easily,” and “I think I could return only if there is a clear reason and meaning.”
