Singer Park Jun-il shared the meaning and production process behind his debut song ‘ECHO’ through a special behind-the-scenes video.
On the 3rd, a recording behind-the-scenes video (EP.01) for Park Jun-il’s first single ‘ECHO’ was released on the official YouTube channel of his agency, Macaroni Music Entertainment (MME).
Released on the 27th of last month, ‘ECHO’ is a track that captures the wounds, passion, and emotional echoes experienced while chasing his dreams. Park Jun-il added more depth to the song by participating in the songwriting and composition.
The video showcases Park Jun-il’s active involvement in the overall production. He revealed his sincerity as an artist by pouring his own experiences and emotions into every lyric and melody, stating, “I wanted to make a song where fans could fully feel my heart.”
Rather than using intuitive lyrics, he spent a lot of time thinking about how to convey emotions through metaphors and lingering impressions. Even when he hit a creative wall, he left a deep impression by staying focused and saying, “I can do this when I think of the fans.”
Regarding the core message of ‘ECHO’, Park Jun-il explained, “It contains the seven years I spent as a trainee,” adding, “I wanted to express not only the difficult moments but also the joy I felt and the desire to rise again.”
After completing the work, he urged, “I revised it until the end for a better melody and lyrics. I really hope a lot of people listen to it.”
Meanwhile, more behind-the-scenes content for ‘ECHO’ will be released sequentially. After successfully completing fan meetings in Seoul and Tokyo, he plans to continue meeting global fans in Yokohama on May 10.
