Singer Park Nam-jung expressed his pride as he thought about his two daughters following in his footsteps.
The May 17th episode of MBN’s ‘Altoran’ featured Lee Sang-min, Lee Yeon-bok, Cha Yu-na, and Denian.
Cha Yu-na shared memories of her father, saying, “He was a total ‘daughter fool.’ He must have seen me as a baby even as I grew up. Usually, people say ‘let’s eat,’ but even when I was a college student, he would say ‘let’s eat mamma’ (baby talk for food),” reflecting the love she received.
Lee Yeon-bok expressed his longing for his father, recalling, “My father was a carpenter, and back then, everything from planing to sawing was done by hand. I wish he could have lived in an era like today. I only remember him working so hard.”

Meanwhile, singer Park Nam-jung and Chef Kim Mi-ryung made an appearance. When Lee Sang-min recreated Park Nam-jung’s legendary flashy footwork, Park jokingly remarked, “Looking at it, (his skill) isn’t below average.”
Regarding Park Nam-jung’s past popularity, Lee Sang-min noted, “People talk about BTS now, but in our day, it was Park Nam-jung.” Kim Mi-ryung also reminisced, “Back then, it was the era of book covers. We’d scream ‘Oppa is here!’ and even cry.”
Lee Sang-min mentioned that “idols grow where idols are planted” when bringing up Park Nam-jung’s daughters. Park Nam-jung replied, “I feel great that they seem to have inherited the family business. My eldest, Sieun, is active in the group STAYC, and my second daughter, Siwoo, is working hard at acting.” He added a joke, “I heard somewhere that now they’re called ‘two children’ (instead of idols).”
When asked about his age, Park Nam-jung initially reacted, “Do we really have to talk about age?” before surprising everyone by revealing, “I’m planning to have my 60th birthday party this month.” He credited dancing for his youthful appearance, explaining, “With dancing, if you take a step with one foot, you must take a step with the other. Balance is key. There’s nothing better than doing it happily.” As for his cooking, he confessed, “I’ve tried cooking at home, but the reaction was always not so great.”

While practicing for a concert, Park Nam-jung played a song by his daughter Sieun and beamed, “As expected of my daughter. STAYC is the best!” Having done many challenges with STAYC, Park Nam-jung performed the STAYC dance with a fresh expression, admitting, “I’ve become much more natural. It was awkward at first.”
Meanwhile, Park Nam-jung recently appeared on the tvN STORY variety show ‘My Child’s Romance’ with his second daughter, Park Siwoo. Park Siwoo became a final couple with Yoo Hee-dong, the son of Yoo Tae-woong.
