Actors Park Se-young, Han Go-eun, and Im Ji-eun are sparking anticipation after confirming their roles in MBC’s new daily drama ‘Family Relationship Certificate’.

MBC’s new daily drama ‘Family Relationship Certificate’ (Planned by Namgung Sung-woo and Jang Jae-hoon / Directed by Kim Mi-sook / Written by Park Ji-hyun / Produced by MBC C&I and Void) tells the story of a child branded as a family destroyer from birth and a woman who fights against cold prejudice and fate to reclaim her life. Writer Park Ji-hyun, known for ‘Well Done Really’ and ‘Well Done’, and Director Kim Mi-sook, who directed ‘Always Spring Day’, ‘Bad Love’, and ‘Brave Yong Su-jeong’, have teamed up to create a series aimed at deep empathy and immersion.
Park Se-young, returning to the small screen after some time, will play Na Ji-ni, an aspiring artist majoring in Korean painting. Na Ji-ni dreams of creating a K-animation that people worldwide can relate to. While she seems to have lived a perfect life on the surface, she carries scars that are difficult to reveal. Despite her glamorous background as the daughter of a famous cellist mother and a production CEO father, she possesses a strong personality and carves her own path. Fans are eager to see Park Se-young’s emotional acting, as she is expected to create a new life-defining character by portraying the process of healing and growth.
Han Go-eun will play Na Se-ri, Na Ji-ni’s mother and a cellist from the National Symphony Orchestra who once represented the Korean classical music scene. Although she achieved success with her outstanding skills and elegant aura, she is a character who lives with anxiety and secrets that she cannot easily share. Na Se-ri, who strives to maintain a confident image while hiding internal cracks, will serve as a key figure driving the tension of the drama. Returning to dramas after some time, Han Go-eun is expected to maximize the character’s presence with her signature sophisticated image and deep acting.
Im Ji-eun has been cast as Noh Young-joo, a character who lives with positive energy. Noh Young-joo, who once majored in vocal music and dreamed of becoming a musical actress, currently runs ‘LibĂ© Singing Class’ while steadfastly enduring the realities of life. Despite facing many ups and downs, she has continued her life with a bright personality and strong survival skills, eventually facing a new change as she reflects on her own happiness. Im Ji-eun plans to deliver laughter, empathy, and comfort by delicately expressing the joys and sorrows of Noh Young-joo through her characteristic friendliness and realistic acting.
The production team stated, “We believe all three actresses show a high synchronization with their characters and are the optimal combination to create strong synergy together.” They added, “We plan to interestingly depict the process of characters with their own scars colliding and growing as they find the true meaning of family.”
Meanwhile, MBC’s new daily drama ‘Family Relationship Certificate’ will air as the successor to ‘First Man’.
