Actor Park Sung-woong got real about the prejudices he once held toward his junior, Yoo In-young, while celebrating their 13-year friendship.
A new video titled “Perfect weather for ramen… Han River ramen with Park Sung-woong oppa” was recently uploaded to Yoo In-young’s YouTube channel, ‘Inyoung Inyoung’.
In the video, Yoo In-young and Park Sung-woong, who have known each other for 13 years, visited the Han River to spend some quality time together.
The duo treated fans to a full-on mukbang at Han River Park, cooking up various types of ramen including Gamja-myeon, Jin Jjamppong, and Jjashulin. After raving about the taste of outdoor ramen, they enjoyed a hearty meal with chicken and topped it off with ice cream, bonding over the simple joys of daily life.
While eating, the two looked back on their first meeting 13 years ago during the filming of a one-act play and revealed some hidden stories about their first impressions of each other.
Park Sung-woong drew attention by honestly admitting he had a prejudice against Yoo In-young at first. He explained that it was because she was a model-turned-actor. He added that back then, he held a prejudice that actors from modeling backgrounds might lack sincerity when it comes to acting.
However, those prejudices melted away as they prepared for the project together. Park Sung-woong mentioned that he saw how hard Yoo In-young worked starting from the script reading and noticed her serious attitude toward acting guidance, which completely shattered his preconceived notions.
Having opened his heart to her sincere approach, Park Sung-woong offered warm, human advice as a senior in the industry. They comfortably shared their current lives and worries, proving the deep trust and great chemistry they’ve built over the last 13 years.
