The OST for the hit drama ‘Heosuabi’ is now available through KT Genie Music.
As the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Heosuabi’ (written by Lee Ji-hyun and directed by Park Jun-woo) gains popularity, its OSTs, which remake music from the 1980s, are also drawing significant attention.
Released on April 20, ‘Tonight’ from the ‘Heosuabi’ OST Part 1 features Soyou reinterpreting Kim Wan-sun’s original track in a dreamy, acoustic style. Additionally, ‘Things Being Forgotten,’ released on the 12th of this month, is a remake of a song by the group Dongmulwon, with actor Park Hae-soo personally lending his vocals to capture a lonely sentiment.
The ‘Heosuabi’ OST was produced by the comprehensive entertainment company Mound Media and is distributed by KT Genie Music.
A KT Genie Music official stated on the 14th, “We will continue to create synergy between dramas and OST music through collaboration with KT Studio Genie.”
Meanwhile, ‘Heosuabi’ is a crime investigation thriller about a detective searching for the real culprit behind a series of murders who ends up in an unexpected partnership with a person he loathed. Episode 8, aired on the 12th, recorded a rating of 7.4% (Nielsen Korea nationwide paid households), once again breaking its own viewership record. It airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM.
