Rain shared his special connection with Lee Sang-min on the show ‘Ani Geunde Jinjja!’.
On the May 11 broadcast of the SBS variety show ‘Ani Geunde Jinjja!’, singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) appeared as a guest, meeting MCs Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Su-ji, and Kai.
While everyone welcomed Rain as a “world star,” Lee Sang-min acted a bit bossy, telling him, “Greet me properly.”
As everyone looked on in confusion at Lee Sang-min’s unexpected behavior, Rain revealed, “(Lee Sang-min) is my middle school senior.”
Rain laughed and recalled, “When I was in middle school, Lee Sang-min hyung was like a legend. He was at the peak of his career with Roo’ra, but the teachers only said bad things about him. They all said, ‘I never dreamed he would become that successful.'”
When Kai asked if Lee Sang-min was his idol, Rain firmly replied, “He wasn’t my idol. I liked other groups,” sparking laughter among the cast.
