R&B musician Tabber is back with his new track ‘New Moon’! This song serves as a teaser for his upcoming EP, ‘Modern Goth’.
Tabber, the unique artist redefining the K-R&B scene through alternative pop sounds, released the pre-release single ‘New Moon’ on the 14th, further expanding his dark and dreamy musical universe.
‘New Moon’ uses the ‘New Moon’ phenomenon as a metaphor for the private world shared by two lovers when they close their eyes. It sensually captures how their presence and breath become even clearer in the moments they cannot see.
Centered around 80s synthesizer sounds, the track builds up heavy energy with strong drum beats, leaving a vivid impression of the main theme from the start. Tabber’s signature dark fantasy mood and cinematic narrative complete the striking atmosphere.
On the 12th, Tabber also announced a collaboration with the fashion brand Hatchingroom. This project celebrates his EP release, with a collaboration collection reflecting the visuals and mood of the EP coming soon.
Tabber will make his first appearance at the Seoul Jazz Festival on May 22. Following that, he will take the stage at ‘SUMMER SONIC 2026’ in Japan on August 15 and 16 alongside DEAN. As Summer Sonic is a premier music festival featuring top global artists, fans are highly anticipating Tabber’s global moves.
Already receiving a hot response overseas, including in English-speaking regions, Tabber plans to continue his active global activities in the second half of the year, starting with Summer Sonic.
Since his debut EP ‘Deep End Mix Tape’ in 2020, he has left a strong impression with his dreamy soundscapes and raw, textured vocals.
