Seol Un-do revealed that he won over his wife using a “scam operation.”
The May 16 episode of MBN’s ‘Dongchimi’ will be a special two-part 700th episode featuring a marriage talk themed “The Oppas Loved Passionately!”
During the show, Seol Un-do confesses, “I fell in love at first sight with my wife, Lee Su-jin, who was a movie actress at the time. She was exactly my ideal type. I liked her so much that I thought, ‘I must win this woman over.'” He then bluntly added, “I wasn’t her type,” recalling, “Even when I spoke to her, there was no reaction. I had to woo her, but I had no way.”
Seol Un-do shares his success story, saying, “Then, I found the only gap I could exploit,” and “After that, the way she looked at me changed.”
He also recalls pretending to be a famous composer back when he had no hit songs, saying, “I thought I had to become a composer. Since I had to woo her, I approached her using other people’s songs.” Seol Un-do confessed, “I was that desperate. It was a feeling of ‘It has to be this person.'”
Seol Un-do further shared, “I lied and said I wrote all the songs, and the ‘gaslighting’ (?) worked. After taking the lead in the relationship, I prepared for the next step toward marriage.”
