The action comedy ‘Fifty Percent’, starring Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae, has made a grand debut on the small screen.
Jung Ho-myung, once a legendary agent, provided a shocking twist when he ended up marrying the daughter of Oran Banjeom while undercover as a delivery man there in Yeongseondo. Meanwhile, North Korean agent Bong Je-soon is undergoing hypnosis for partial amnesia. While he fights 17-to-1 and drops bombs in his hypnosis, his therapist scolds him, telling him to “stop watching so many action movies,” as he currently lives the life of an ordinary office worker. Kang Beom-ryong, formerly the second-in-command of a gang, has also become a convenience store owner in Yeongseondo, spending his “salty” days supporting his gang boss who is currently in prison.
Viewers are incredibly curious to see how these three men, who seemed to be living ordinary and somewhat petty lives, will reunite in the same place, Yeongseondo.
‘Fifty Percent’ is a salty action comedy drama about real pros who have run through 50% of their lives; though their bodies may have rusted from the hardships of the world, their loyalty and instincts remain intact. It is already being praised for delivering refreshing laughter to exhausted viewers through a mix of hilarious comedy and gripping action from the very first episode.
