Shin Ha-kyun has revealed the surprising reason why he takes cold showers even in the dead of winter.
On May 20, a video titled “How can it be 50% when Shin, the Fairy, and Hubbly are here? It’s 100%” was uploaded to the ‘Yoo In Radio’ channel.
In the video, Yoo In-na asked, “I feel like Shin Ha-kyun sunbaenim would be a great dancer. Don’t you dance well when you’re alone at home?” Shin Ha-kyun sparked laughter with his blunt response: “Why would I dance alone at home?”
Yoo In-na then followed up by asking, “Honestly, don’t you sing while bathing?” Shin Ha-kyun replied, “I shower very quickly. There’s no time to sing.” He went on to explain the perks of his cold shower routine, saying, “I take cold showers even in winter. I have a lot of body heat, and since people say it’s good, I do it. It feels very refreshing afterward. It’s cool in the summer, and while it’s tough in the winter, it actually makes the body feel very warm.”
Reacting to this, Ko Young-bae speculated about Shin Ha-kyun’s motives, saying, “From my perspective, he probably had no intention of revealing his cold shower routine, but since the talk turned to singing and dancing, he quickly covered it up with the cold shower story.”
