The celebrations for actress Shin Se-kyung’s Baeksang Arts Awards win are still going strong!
On the 20th, Shin Se-kyung shared several photos on her Instagram Stories with a short caption saying, “Thanks for the cake.”
The photos show her enjoying a meal with friends. One particular cake caught fans’ attention, reading, “Congratulations to Shin Se-kyung on the Humint Baeksang win.”

Shin Se-kyung took home the Best Supporting Actress award in the film category for ‘Humint’ at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 8th. She won the trophy over a competitive lineup of nominees, including Shin Hyun-bin (‘Face’), Yum Hye-ran (‘I Can’t Help It’), Jang Hye-jin (‘Master of the World’), and Jeon Mi-do (‘The Man Living with the King’).
However, there was some controversy when actor Lee Sung-min, who won Best Supporting Actor for ‘I Can’t Help It’, mentioned in his acceptance speech, “(Hye-ran, who appeared in the same project as me) I even cursed inside because she didn’t get it.” This was pointed out as being inconsiderate toward his junior, Shin Se-kyung.
In response, a representative from Lee Sung-min’s agency told multiple media outlets on the 17th, “We understand that Lee Sung-min personally contacted Shin Se-kyung the day after the awards ceremony to clear up the misunderstanding.”
Meanwhile, Shin Se-kyung, born in 1990, is 35 years old this year. She consistently communicates with her 1.48 million subscribers by uploading Vlogs about cooking, traveling, and exercising on her YouTube channel.
