Koyote’s Shinji has transformed her look with a short bob right after marrying Moonwon.
On the 20th, a video titled “Shinji’s recent status, cutting her hair short right after marriage” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Eotteosinji?!?’.
Shinji headed straight to the hair salon after her wedding. She explained, “I’m trying to go a bit shorter, like a tragic heroine,” adding, “I did so many things to my hair last year that the ends were damaged and breaking. I was wondering when to cut it, and since I was already out…” She then announced her transformation to a short bob.
At the stylist’s suggestion, Shinji even picked up the scissors and cut her own hair. She mentioned, “It feels strange to cut it myself,” but added that it felt “refreshing.”
When asked what she did after the wedding, she replied, “I just sprawled out.” Shinji also revealed that she was surprised to start experiencing skin breakouts after the ceremony.
Her husband, Moonwon, was right there for her transformation. Moonwon showed his excitement, saying, “I think it’ll be pretty. It suits you. It’s clean.” Shinji created a sweet atmosphere, noting, “Moonwon just loves short hair in general.”
Moonwon mentioned that while Shinji had mid-length hair once, “now it’s completely short.” Shinji shared, “When I have a bob, the drying time is reduced to one-tenth. Once you cut it short after getting older, you don’t want to grow it back. It’s just so convenient, so it keeps getting shorter.”
Shinji also opened up about her newlywed life, saying, “My husband makes me all the best things like spicy braised chicken, eel soup, and stir-fried webfoot octopus. He makes sure I’m well-nourished.” She added, “Even if my stomach just makes a little growling sound, he keeps trying to feed me. He even insists that the sound of digestion is the sound of hunger.”
After her hair makeover, she visited an eel restaurant with Moonwon. There, Shinji shared a behind-the-scenes story from the wedding: “During the second part of the wedding, Moonwon played a song and video he made himself. But since I didn’t cry, he asked why I wasn’t crying. My husband was sobbing right next to me, so how could I cry too?”
Moonwon expressed his sincere feelings, saying, “The emotions I felt when writing the melody and lyrics came back.” He revealed, “I originally didn’t plan to release it, but there were so many requests. The guests asked for it to be released, so it will be available on June 2nd.”
Meanwhile, Shinji and Moonwon officially became a couple after their wedding on the 2nd. However, immediately following the announcement, rumors regarding Moonwon’s behavior and past history spread, leading to some public opposition. Moonwon clarified the rumors, and Shinji showed her unwavering trust in him, stating, “I am well aware of the affectionate concern and worries of many people.” Recently, the couple appeared together on KBS2’s ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant’ to share their daily lives as newlyweds.
