Heo Sung-tae expressed his gratitude for the nickname ‘Heo-kine’.
On May 20, a video titled “How can it be 50% when there’s a god, a fairy, and Heo-vely? It’s 100%!” was released on the ‘Yoo In Radio’ channel.
Yoo In-na and Ko Young-bae introduced the nicknames of their guests, Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae. After mentioning ‘Heo-vely’, they brought up ‘Heo-kine’, noting that the nickname became a huge sensation and that he “made a mark” with it. Heo Sung-tae playfully responded, “I wish that mark hadn’t even been there.”
While thanking everyone for the ‘Heo-kine’ nickname, Heo Sung-tae shared the behind-the-scenes story: “It really put me on the map in the variety show world. It’s not that I specifically wanted to do it, but during filming, the staff were all nodding off because they were so exhausted. I just thought, ‘I need to get these people home as quickly as possible,’ so I gave it my all. I had no idea it would get this kind of reaction.”
When Oh Jung-se jokingly suggested he dance again if the staff started nodding off, Heo Sung-tae firmly drew the line, saying, “You guys are way too energetic!”
