Comedian Song Eun-i recently shared her blunt thoughts on why entertainers should take on work without being too picky.
On the May 14 broadcast of SBS Power FM’s “Beautiful This Morning, I’m Bong Tae-gyu” as part of the Power FM 30th Anniversary Family Week, comedians Song Eun-i and Shin Bong-sun joined as guests.
Recalling a moment from “Song Eun-i and Shin Bong-sun’s Dong-go-dong-rak” where she told a worried listener that they only had such concerns because they were “full,” Song Eun-i declared, “I still feel the same way. Celebrity disease? You’ll only snap out of it once you’ve gone hungry!”
Shin Bong-sun noted, “Since Bong Tae-gyu is an actor, aren’t there things he needs to be careful about? But doing things like this seems to make him brighter and happier.” Song Eun-i added, “It was a shame that (Bong Tae-gyu) has so much to offer but couldn’t do it because he was trapped in the mold of being an actor.”
Bong Tae-gyu responded, “There was no one around me who said those things. No one took my side when I wondered if I should try various things. But after coming into this office, I learned that. I should just do it without being picky.”
