Singer Soyou recently shared a frightening experience that landed her in the emergency room.
On the 11th, a video titled “Heading to the ER while filming a MV” was uploaded to the ‘Soyougi’ YouTube channel.
In the video, Soyou took fans behind the scenes of her new mini album ‘Off Hours’ music video. However, during a rehearsal for a subway scene, she suffered an unexpected accident. She lost her balance and rolled down an escalator, which sent her straight to the ER.
While the production team decided to scrap the subway scene, Soyou showed her incredible professionalism by returning to the set just two hours later. Soyou explained, “They told me it was just a bruise. I was so shocked that I don’t even remember screaming. When I got to the ER, my blood pressure was very low. Even though I was in pain, I felt like I had to keep filming. I was supposed to wait for the CT results, but I insisted on going back to the set first.”
Pushing through the pain, Soyou continued filming, jokingly admitting, “I’m screaming inside that it doesn’t hurt!”
Meanwhile, Soyou released ‘Off Hours’ last April and promoted the title track ‘Girl’.
