On the 20th, Lee Seo-jun, the CEO of Lim Su-bin’s agency, took to SNS to directly tag Kim Min-ji. He questioned the intention behind using a specific scene without any prior consultation or agreement with the company, stating, “I was bewildered to find out through reports from fans.” He further requested that she “refrain from mentioning actress Lim Su-bin in the future.”
The scene Lee pointed out is from a recent YouTube video on Kim Min-ji’s channel featuring her studio apartment. While picking out a bed with Woo Sung-min, Kim Min-ji brought up the “Paradise” date from ‘Single’s Inferno 5’.
Recalling a moment with Lim Su-bin from the show, she laughed and said, “Since we were at an expensive hotel, didn’t you want to lie on the bed? I should have been the one to go.” A short clip from the broadcast showing the two lying side-by-side on a bed was also included in the video.
However, after the video was released and Lim Su-bin’s agency CEO expressed his displeasure, a heated debate broke out online.
Some netizens reacted by saying, “It’s a scene that was already broadcast, isn’t this reaction too sensitive?” and “It’s unusual for an agency CEO to publicly call someone out like this.” On the other hand, some expressed understanding for the agency’s position, noting that “it could be an issue that makes the person involved uncomfortable.”
