'Student Teaching Practice' Hits 30,000 Viewers, Surpassing 'Amoeba Girls'!

Director Kim Min-ha, known for ‘Amoeba Girls and School Ghost Stories: School Anniversary’, is seeing great success with her latest project, ‘Student Teaching Practice’.

According to the Korean Film Council’s Integrated Computer Network for Cinema Tickets, ‘Student Teaching Practice’ surpassed 30,000 cumulative viewers on the 26th.

‘Student Teaching Practice’ is a high school “horr-lovely” comedy featuring passionate MZ student teacher Eun-kyung (played by Han Sun-hwa) and a group of girls from a black magic club who face off against a CSAT ghost in a deadly mock exam.

After hitting number one in the independent and art film box office immediately upon release, the film proved its unique “horr-lovely” charm. Thanks to glowing word-of-mouth, it has now surpassed the viewership of Director Kim Min-ha’s previous work, ‘Amoeba Girls and School Ghost Stories: School Anniversary’.

Blending horror with a lovely comedic touch, ‘Student Teaching Practice’ marks the return of the 2026 ‘Girls’ Night Movie’. The film has become a hot topic after winning Best Film and Best Actor at the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.

It is currently screening at CGV.
