
Singer Sung Si Kyung has revealed that sashimi was the key to his impressive 10kg weight loss over the past three months.
In a video titled “Meok-eul-ten-de” uploaded to his YouTube channel “Sung Si Kyung” on the 21st, he shared, “It’s been about 104 days since I started my diet,” adding, “I think eating plenty of protein is really important.”
He credited white-fleshed fish as the MVP of his weight loss journey, saying, “I kept eating white-fleshed fish,” and “I felt full, but it felt like I wasn’t gaining weight.” In another video, Sung Si Kyung also shared a tip for enjoying diet food, noting that “flatfish sashimi is really great for dieting” and suggesting that dipping it in salt allows you to eat more of it.

He also highlighted the importance of the order in which he eats. “Eating two boiled eggs before a meal makes me feel like my body is being set,” he explained. He further noted, “Even when eating Sundae-guk, there’s a difference between eating the vegetables and meat first and then adding the rice, versus adding the rice from the very beginning.”
