Taeyang Calls Tablo His Own “ChatGPT” for Learning English on ‘Psick University’

BIGBANG’s Taeyang expressed his gratitude to Epik High’s Tablo.

On the 19th, a video titled “[Korean Subtitles] Asking Taeyang if he missed you all” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Psick University’. In the video, Taeyang spent some time chatting with the ‘Psick University’ members.

Taeyang showed off his fluent English when asked to greet global fans. When comedian Lee Yong-ju asked why he is so good at English, Taeyang explained, “I’ve been learning since I was young because my seniors all lived in the US.”

Upon hearing this, Lee Yong-ju immediately mentioned Tablo’s podcast, ‘Hi Tablo’. Taeyang admitted, “I use that hyung a lot, like ChatGPT.” Previously, Tablo had shared an anecdote about how Taeyang seems to think of him as ChatGPT.

Taeyang joked, “When I send him a text in English, he says, ‘Why are you suddenly doing this?’ But when I ask, ‘Please teach me English,’ he teaches me well. He’s so kind,” before adding a playful “Thank you, Tablo hyung,” which brought laughter to the set.
