Taeyong unleashed his wild side as an artist through his first full-length album ‘WYLD’, released on the 18th. He showcased his unrivaled charisma, expressing a firm confidence to keep pushing forward toward his goals.

The new track ‘WYLD’ is a hip-hop song inspired by the instinctive movements of wild animals. The performance captures the journey of suppressed instincts awakening to find freedom. A major highlight is the choreography, which unfolds like a story through the contrast between explosive wild energy and restrained expression.
Last week, Taeyong captured the hearts of global fans with performances of ‘WYLD’ on various music programs, including Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’, as well as an appearance at the ‘Seoul Jazz Festival 2026’.
Through the ‘WYLD’ performance, Taeyong utilized his unique energy and expressive power to tell a storytelling-like tale of suppressed instincts awakening and finding freedom.

In particular, the bold, sweeping arm movements, choreography that intuitively expresses animal instincts, and the flow of unrestrained release followed by restraint delivered an intense sense of pleasure and immersion.
Along with this, Taeyong recorded 348,120 copies in first-week sales for his first full album ‘WYLD’. He is receiving immense love from global fans, ranking #1 on domestic album and digital charts, charting all songs on Japan’s AWA real-time rising chart, hitting #1 in 10 regions and TOP 10 in 18 regions on the iTunes Top Album chart, and reaching #1 in 9 regions on the iTunes Top Song chart.
