THEBLACKLABEL, led by music producer Teddy, announced on the 26th that it has completed a Series B investment round totaling 120 billion won.
The agency’s impressive roster includes Taeyang (BIGBANG), Rosé (BLACKPINK), Jeon Somi, the girl group MEOVV, the co-ed group All Day Project, and actors Park Bo-gum and Im Si-wan. Last year, THEBLACKLABEL recorded annual sales of 73.8 billion won, marking a huge 74.5% increase from the previous year’s 42.3 billion won.
THEBLACKLABEL CEO Jung Kyung-in stated, “This Series B investment will serve as a stepping stone to strengthen THEBLACKLABEL’s capabilities.” He further added, “Through cooperation with Tencent Music, we will accelerate our push into the Asian and global music and performance markets, and we plan to develop multi-faceted content convergence businesses including music, video, and games with Krafton.”
