UNITE held a showcase for their 8th mini album, ‘인연 파트1’, on the afternoon of the 12th at the Nolssi Theater Hapjeong Tongyang Life Hall in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Previously, members Eunho and Sion made a splash by participating as the ceremonial first pitcher and batter at the KBO League game between the Hanwha Eagles and KT Wiz, held on the 1st of last month at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon.
Eunho, who is well-known as a huge fan of the Hanwha Eagles, caught everyone’s attention. When asked whether he would choose a league victory for the Hanwha Eagles or the success of UNITE’s new release, he laughed and replied, “I hope we do well first. Then I can cheer for Hanwha. Hanwha ranked 2nd last season.”
He also showed his ambition, stating, “I want to try many new things. Not just pitching and batting, but if there are external activities like various content, I’ll go anywhere and work hard.”
The new album ‘인연 파트1’ explores the story of ‘인연’ (connection), which remains strong despite different locations, situations, and time zones. Describing ‘인연’ as a feeling of connection that exists somewhere between fate and coincidence, the group expresses the moment different beings reach the same space and become one through UNITE’s unique music and performance.
Through this album, UNITE plans to capture the starting point of newly unfolding relationships. Expectations are high as this is their first album since moving to Para Music, a K-pop specialized label under Brand New Music.
The new album will be released today at 6 PM on various music streaming platforms.
