Veteran Actress Jeon Won-ju Makes a Comeback After Hip Surgery: “I’m Healthy Now!”

Veteran actress Jeon Won-ju is officially making her return! After suffering a hip injury from a fall on an icy road, she has finally recovered her health following a long period of rehabilitation.

On the 11th, Jeon Won-ju shared the happy news via her channel ‘Jeon Won-ju In-gong’, posting, “I am so happy and glad to greet you all once again.”

Jeon Won-ju revealed, “I had to undergo hip surgery recently, which is why I took a short break from my channel activities. It was quite difficult during that time because I missed being with all of you so much.” She added, “I made sure not to skip any meals and worked hard on my rehabilitation, and now I can finally stand before you again in good health.”

Fans were thrilled to hear the news, leaving supportive comments such as, “I’m rooting for you, Teacher Jeon Won-ju!” and “I was so worried, but it’s wonderful to see your face again.”

Born in 1939, Jeon Won-ju had previously shared that she suffered a hip fracture. At the time, her channel’s production team explained, “Teacher Jeon Won-ju recently fell on an icy road and underwent surgery for a hip fracture. As filming was not possible, there would be no content uploads for a few weeks.”

In other news, Jeon Won-ju previously confessed on the TV Chosun show ‘Perfect Life’, which aired on the 29th of last month, that she had been diagnosed with early-stage dementia.
