Singer and actor Rain expressed his deep disappointment toward his close friend KCM, who kept his marriage a secret for 13 years.
During the May 11 broadcast of SBS’s ‘Ani Geunde Jinjja!’, Rain revealed he was deeply hurt after learning that KCM had started a family over 10 years ago. “I thought we were truly best friends and shared so many secrets, so I was very disappointed,” he said. He added that while he was angry at first, he eventually felt sad enough to wonder, “What am I to this person?”
Rain shared his inner feelings, saying, “We used to be close without any formalities, but I’ve decided to create some boundaries now.” He explained that he only found out about KCM’s secret when his manager told him, “Did you know? KCM is married and has a daughter in her teens.”
Tak Jae-hoon empathized with Rain’s feelings, questioning KCM, “Why hide it as if you’re some kind of top star? I reveal everything about my marriage and divorce. I could have hidden them if I wanted to.”
Rain also mentioned, “I first saw my sister-in-law on a broadcast.” He added, “She was so beautiful that I wondered if he had kidnapped her. I think there must have been some opposition when they got married,” as he tried to understand KCM’s perspective.
