Actress Park Eun-bin has received glowing praise from Director Yoo In-sik!
On the 18th, Park Eun-bin and Director Yoo In-sik appeared on “LaPl Weekly” via the YouTube channel “Life Plus TV”.
The duo, who previously worked together on the hit drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (Woo Young-woo), reunited for the Netflix series “Wonderfuls”. Park Eun-bin shared that she first heard about the project while standing in front of the kimbap shop from “Woo Young-woo”!
Interestingly, their first meeting wasn’t actually on “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”. Back in 2001 for the drama “Guardian Angel”, Director Yoo In-sik was an assistant director, and Park Eun-bin made a brief appearance as the child version of Song Hye-kyo.

Park Eun-bin was shocked, asking, “I had no idea you worked on that project! Why did you keep it a secret?” Director Yoo explained, “I didn’t have a clear memory of it at first, but I found out later. When I heard Park Eun-bin was in it, I looked up the scene and remembered. I had to film just one scene, a parting scene in front of an orphanage. I was worried, but the child who had to cry did it so well that we finished in just one take.”
When asked why he cast Park Eun-bin as a neighborhood troublemaker this time, Director Yoo revealed his absolute trust in her. “During ‘Woo Young-woo’, I talked about this a lot, but all I did was call ‘cue’, watch her act, admire her, and check if it was recorded. She was so good that I thought there is nothing this actress cannot do.”
Director Yoo added, “We joked that she found it hard because there were so many lines. But since she never made a single NG, I didn’t even realize she was struggling.” He further noted, “This time, there was more action than dialogue. In ‘Woo Young-woo’, she remembered every detail after seeing it once, but in ‘Wonderfuls’, she forgets most of it. I wanted to see her try that kind of challenge.”
Meanwhile, “Wonderfuls” was released on Netflix on the 15th.
