Will IVE’s Leeseo become the “Victory Fairy” for the LG Twins?
Starship Entertainment announced on the 7th, “Leeseo will take the mound as the first pitch thrower for the LG Twins vs. Doosan Bears game held at Seoul Jamsil Baseball Stadium today at 6:30 PM.”
Leeseo shared her excitement through her agency, saying, “Since this is my first time attempting a first pitch, I’m nervous and excited. I’m grateful to the LG Twins for giving me this meaningful opportunity, and I’ll do my best to bring great energy to the game. I hope all the players finish the game without any injuries, and I hope today is remembered as a special day for the fans.”
Making her first-ever first pitch appearance since debut, Leeseo is expected to heat up the atmosphere with her signature bright and lively charm. Fans are eagerly anticipating how the positive energy she shows on stage will translate to the baseball field.
As the maknae of IVE, Leeseo has consistently drawn attention with her flexible yet powerful performance skills and unique vocals. She has also been active in various broadcasts and content, thanks to her bright energy and witty variety sense.
In particular, Leeseo proved her versatile charm and wit as an MC for SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ for about one year and seven months starting from April 2024. Additionally, she has shown a wide spectrum by pulling off various concepts in brand events and photo shoots.
IVE is currently successfully carrying out their second world tour, ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’. After proving their immense popularity in Japan with a recent performance at Kyocera Dome Osaka, they will continue their tour in Manila, Singapore, Macau, Australia, and New Zealand. They are also scheduled to return to the Tokyo Dome on June 24 to set new records.
Meanwhile, IVE meets fans every Friday at 7:30 PM through their new original content ‘ARCH·IVE’. They will further their global activities with the release of their fourth Japanese album ‘LUCID DREAM’ on the 27th.
