All eyes are on whether ‘Woogi’ will seize the gold and betray ‘Hee-joo’ (Park Bo-young), and if their relationship will spiral toward a disastrous end.
Additionally, ‘Director Park’ (Lee Kwang-soo) storms into the mine, leading to a volatile confrontation between ‘Hee-joo’, ‘Woogi’, and ‘Director Park’. As ‘Director Park’ finally realizes that the gold bars are hidden in the mine, the relationship between the three, entangled in greed, begins to spin out of control.
In particular, the high-stakes chase and gritty action between ‘Woogi’ and ‘Director Park’ as they fight for the gold bars are set to deliver extreme tension and genre-satisfying thrills. ‘Gold Land’ is a golden-desire survival thriller where ‘Hee-joo’ (Park Bo-young), who has gotten her hands on 150 billion won worth of gold bars from a smuggling ring, fights a desperate battle to claim the gold for herself amidst a chaotic mess of greed and betrayal.
