
Actor Yoo Seung-mok has taken home the Best Supporting Actor award in the TV category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards!
The “62nd Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci” took place on May 8 at 7:50 PM at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was broadcast live on Chzzk, JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4, with Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum serving as the MCs.
Yoo Seung-mok, who played Baek Jeong-tae in the drama The Story of Manager Kim who works at a large company and owns a house in Seoul (hereafter Manager Kim), won the honor of Best Supporting Actor. He caught everyone’s attention by getting emotional on stage, revealing that this was the first time he had ever been nominated for an award ceremony.
Yoo Seung-mok expressed his gratitude to the production team and fellow actors of Manager Kim, stating, “I wanted to show not just a simple villain, but the friendship, strong bond, and human side I built with Manager Kim.” He added, “I won’t get arrogant just because I won an award, so please keep calling me for roles!” He also dedicated the win to his wife, who silently supported his acting career, shouting, “This award is yours!”
