Yoo Yeon-seok, who suffered for a long time believing his father was a corrupt prosecutor, has finally confirmed Choi Won-young’s innocence. Now, he is officially teaming up to expose the evil deeds of Choi Kwang-il, the face of a massive conspiracy.
In the 15th episode of SBS’s ‘Shin I-rang Law Firm’ (directed by Shin Jung-hoon, written by Kim Ga-young and Kang Chul-gyu) aired on the 1st, Shin I-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) had a dramatic reunion with his father, prosecutor Shin Ki-jung (played by Choi Won-young), who returned as a ghost, facing the twisted truths of the past.
In the episode, Shin Ki-jung, having regained his memories, shed tears while staying close to his wife Park Kyung-hwa (played by Kim Mi-kyung) and daughter Shin Sa-rang (played by Son Yeo-eun). Shin I-rang apologized in tears for his past mistake of doubting his father. Shin Ki-jung comforted his son, saying that having just one person believe in him was enough, and the two shared a short but happy memory by visiting a public bathhouse together.
The truth revealed through the father and son’s conversation was harsh. In the past, Shin Ki-jung helped teacher Yoon Dae-myung secure a fair judgment, and when Mr. Yoon became isolated because of it, he worked tirelessly to help him. On the day of the accident, Shin Ki-jung met with a mysterious accident while on his way to retrieve a recording device containing evidence of collusion between the prosecution and the parents of a student perpetrator.

Shin I-rang sensed that the drug components detected in his father’s body and the rumors of corruption were all fabricated, and Shin Ki-jung also realized that someone had meticulously planned this tragedy. Yang Byung-il (played by Choi Kwang-il), the chairman of Taebaek and the actual mastermind, claimed innocence to his son Yang Do-kyung (played by Kim Kyung-nam), but this was a lie. It was revealed that Yang Byung-il was the one who administered drugs to the dying Shin Ki-jung and ordered the murder, leaving viewers shocked.
The tension reached its peak when Shin I-rang found the recording device, the decisive piece of evidence, based on his father’s memories. Members of the Saryonghoe organization, acting on Yang Byung-il’s orders, stormed Shin I-rang’s office to steal the recorder and threatened him with a talisman that could erase his father. After reluctantly handing over the recorder to protect his father, Shin I-rang was brutally beaten. In that desperate moment, he merged with the spirit of his father, Shin Ki-jung, and began to exhibit superhuman strength. Borrowing his father’s skills as a kendo master, Shin I-rang quickly turned the tables with a thrilling counterattack and reclaimed the recording device.
As helper Han Na-hyun narrows in on Yang Byung-il by revealing that the initial reporter of the Yoon Dae-myung case was a Saryonghoe member, all eyes are on whether Shin I-rang can restore his father’s honor and reveal the ugly truth of the Taebaek family to the world. The narrative of a father who became a ghost under a false accusation and a son who risks his life to resolve that grudge is raising viewers’ heart rates as the final episode approaches.
