Kim Min-seol is captivating viewers in every episode of the MBC daily drama ‘First Man’, playing the indispensable villain Jin Hong-ju.
In episodes 97 and 98, Hong-ju shook things up with a calculated plan, manipulating the emotions and desires of those around her to win over her one-sided love, Kang Baek-ho (played by Yoon Sun-woo).
Driven by intense jealousy toward Oh Jang-mi (played by Ham Eun-jung), whom Baek-ho loves, Hong-ju approached Ma Seo-rin (played by Ham Eun-jung) and sparked her jealousy by claiming Chairman Ma (played by Lee Hyo-jung) intended to hand over all assets to Jang-mi. This move was designed to isolate Jang-mi and block her from taking over Dream Hotel.
Hong-ju also teamed up with Kang Jun-ho (played by Park Gun-il). She lured Jang-mi using a message card disguised as if it were from Baek-ho, leading her to meet Jun-ho. By sending a photo of Jang-mi and Jun-ho together to Seo-rin, she shattered the strong trust that once existed between Jang-mi and Seo-rin.
Hong-ju’s ambitious schemes eventually led Seo-rin to join forces with Chae Hwa-young (played by Oh Hyun-kyung), vowing to take over both Dream and Jun-ho. Furthermore, she triggered a whirlwind of plot twists by revealing to Han Young-ja (played by Choi Ji-yeon) that Jun-ho is actually Hwa-young’s biological son. As such, Hong-ju is playing a key role in adding excitement to the drama at just the right moments.
