Yoon Kyung-ho shared a hilarious story about feeling flustered during filming after the movie ‘The Man Living with the King’ became a huge success.
On May 6, a production press conference for the TVING original drama ‘Legend of the Cook’ was held at the Pullman Ambassador Seoul Eastpole in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
Yoon Kyung-ho, who plays the veteran administrative supply officer Master Sergeant Park Jae-young, told the crowd, “This is your chance to see the ‘King’s brother’ as a private. If you enjoy the first episode, you’ll love it until the very end. There’s so much variety and fun waiting for you. We did our outdoor filming in Uljin. I’m mentioning this now in case you’re curious if our show becomes a hit. Please give it lots of love!”
After finishing his answer, Yoon Kyung-ho grabbed the mic again and confessed, “I forgot to mention, ‘The Man Living with the King’ exploded in popularity toward the end of filming, which put a lot of pressure on me on set. He suddenly appeared as a king, so it felt a bit awkward around episodes 9 and 10,” leaving the venue in laughter.
When MC Park Kyung-rim asked how he feels now, Yoon Kyung-ho cheerfully replied, “Now I’m just happy, glad he’s doing so well, and it’s great that we get to be photographed together!”
The TVING original drama ‘Legend of the Cook’ is a military cooking fantasy drama that follows Private Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Ji-hoon), who swaps his gun for a kitchen knife and his gear belt for an apron to become a legendary cook. It premieres on May 11 at 8:50 PM on TVING and tvN.
