Young K’s streak of bad luck continues! After having his spot threatened by Haewon and losing a head-to-head battle with Hanhae, he ended up with a Son Dam-bi makeup penalty.
The May 16 episode of tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday’ featured guests from NMIXX (Haewon, Bae) and LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Kazuha).
During the main dish Pu Phat Pong Curry round, the cast had to guess the lyrics to ‘Amored’ by Son Dam-bi and After School. Making her first appearance, Haewon wrote the most lyrics and earned a “one shot,” leading Boom to praise her by saying she seems even better than Young K.
Young K also praised his junior Haewon, calling her “excellent” and “bright.” Boom joked that the way Young K looked at Haewon was like a “company CEO.” However, Haewon showed her ambition by pointing to Young K’s seat and declaring, “This seat is mine,” leaving Young K laughing in fear as he replied, “I haven’t even been here that long!”
Later, Young K and Hanhae clashed over a single character in the lyrics. Young K argued, “I wouldn’t write it like this. If it were a DAY6 song, I wouldn’t write it like this,” while Hanhae stood his ground, saying, “I write lyrics too.” The two eventually made a bet over who would have to do the Son Dam-bi makeup for ‘Amored’.
In the end, Young K was the one confirmed for the Son Dam-bi makeup. Having dug his own grave, Young K already mastered the ‘Amored’ Son Dam-bi pose, making everyone even more excited for the penalty show.
