Shin Hye-sun and Gong Myung from the tvN weekend drama ‘Secret Audit’ have sent fans’ hearts racing with a thrilling kiss!

In the 4th episode aired on the 3rd, the relationship between Joo In-ah (played by Shin Hye-sun) and Noh Ki-jun (played by Gong Myung) progressed rapidly as they began to share a secret that couldn’t be told to anyone. The art studio kiss ending, born from a whirlwind of uncontrollable emotions, pushed viewers’ heart rates to the limit.
The audience’s reaction was proven by the numbers. Ratings for the episode hit an average of 8.1% and a peak of 9.5% in the metropolitan area, while national ratings averaged 7.9% and peaked at 9.1%, breaking the show’s own record. This placed the drama at number one in its time slot across cable and general programming. The key 2049 target demographic also peaked at 3.2% in the metropolitan area and 3.1% nationwide, topping all channels for that time slot (according to Nielsen Korea paid platforms).
In the episode, Noh Ki-jun experienced extreme confusion after accidentally witnessing Joo In-ah’s secret private life. While Noh Ki-jun tried his best to draw a line, Joo In-ah acted as usual, but the strange tension between them hinted at a shift in their emotions.
The turning point came during a field investigation into allegations of a targeted audit at the Haemu Group main research lab. With her signature insight, Joo In-ah realized the investigation was targeting someone specific, and Noh Ki-jun showed fantastic teamwork by calmly persuading a terrified interviewee. During this process, they discovered suspicious activity in the corporate card records of CTO James (played by David), a key figure at Haemu Electronics. Despite the risks, Joo In-ah skillfully approached James to gather information and conducted an undercover investigation at his hotel that night.
Posing as a couple for the investigation, the two were flustered by the romantic atmosphere set by the hotel. In a moment fueled by champagne, a simple touch of their toes created a mysterious vibe, and while playfully bickering, they had a heart-stopping moment falling onto the bed together. Their intense eye contact, close enough to hear each other’s heartbeats, left viewers breathless.
The operation was a success! Joo In-ah delivered a satisfying “cider” moment by raiding the scene just as James was trying to pressure a subordinate. However, tension rose as a sharp confrontation followed between Joo In-ah and General Vice Chairman Jeon Jae-yeol (played by Kim Jae-uk), who had recruited James. Noh Ki-jun began to notice the strange air between them while helping Joo In-ah fix her disheveled clothes after she left the Vice Chairman’s office. The next day, when Joo In-ah smiled brightly while putting a pin in Ki-jun’s hair, Noh Ki-jun unconsciously smiled back.
Meanwhile, Noh Ki-jun received an email from an anonymous informant known as ‘No Name.’ He froze coldly upon seeing a photo of Joo In-ah hugging a mysterious man in an underground parking lot. Despite getting the weakness he wanted, he felt an inexplicable sense of irritation and confusion. Recalling Joo In-ah’s smile and their moments at the hotel, he decided to confirm his true feelings. Returning to the art academy, Noh Ki-jun looked at Joo In-ah without prejudice, finished his painting, and whispered, “You’re pretty.” The passionate kiss that followed signaled that their relationship had entered a new phase.
Additionally, the past connection between Jeon Jae-yeol and Park Ah-jung was revealed. It began with Jeon Jae-yeol’s kindness in providing a place to stay without any conditions on a night when Park Ah-jung was in despair over a mountain of debt. Park Ah-jung fell for his reliability and confessed her feelings, but Jeon Jae-yeol firmly rejected her. Park Ah-jung still secretly loves him, leaving viewers curious about Jeon Jae-yeol’s true intentions for keeping her by his side.
