Lee Changmin has officially entered the TOP 7 of ‘Unnamed Legend’!
During the May 13 broadcast of MBN’s massive trot audition ‘Unnamed Legend – Trot Men’s Hierarchy War’ (hereafter ‘Unnamed Legend’), Lee Changmin took on the second final round, the ‘Life Masterpiece Mission’.
Before the final, Lee Changmin visited his music teacher for a heartfelt conversation, revealing his true passion for music as he embarked on this new challenge.
Sharing his honest feelings before the performance, Lee Changmin said, “Trot gave me great strength during a really difficult time. While every participant has their own desperation, I am just as desperate.”
With a determined mindset, he added, “Since this is the final stage, I will do my best to give a performance I won’t regret,” and delivered a powerful rendition of Nam Jin’s ‘Empty A-frame Carrier’. Lee Changmin captivated the audience with his signature soulful voice and deep emotion.
Immediately after the performance, Lim Han Byul praised him, saying, “I loved the way he sang softly. It felt like he entered ‘Unnamed Legend’ carrying many expectations, and he shared the contents of that carrier with the other participants and judges. It was impressive to see him let go of that burden and perform the final stage with a light heart.” He added his support, saying, “I hope he fills that empty carrier with many more diverse things in the future.”
In the final rankings revealed at the end of the broadcast, Lee Changmin ranked 6th, confirming his spot in the TOP 7. Through this challenge, Lee Changmin once again proved his potential as an all-round entertainer capable of handling various genres beyond being a ballad singer.
Meanwhile, Lee Changmin recently successfully completed the Hong Kong performance of the 2026 2am concert ‘Today, 2am’ and is scheduled to hold Seoul performances on June 13 and 14.
